The Korean Alphabet

Here are some photos to help with learning to write in Korean! I've included a chart that shows how Korean letters can line up with vowels, and also a regular chart of the individual letters and the romanization of their phonetic sounds.  Something interesting about Korean writing is that the letters are often stacked according to syllables, as seen in some of our previous class vocabulary! Check it out!

Introduction

Annyeonghaseyo hagsaeng!

Welcome to our Korean class blog; a space where you are free to browse, learn, and share your growing knowledge with your fellow classmates! I will be posting our homework assignments to this blog so they are easily accessible if you miss class or need to catch up at all. This blog will hopefully be a useful tool for you all to use alongside our in-class learning, as I will also be posting helpful videos relevant to the lessons we discuss in class!

As part of your participation grade, I would like you all to post a weekly comment about one of the lessons we have gone over in class that has been shared on the blog.  If you have any relevant information that you would also like to share on the blog with your fellow classmates, please email it to me so that I can post it and accredit you for the resource!

I look forward to our year together, and if you ever need to contact me, please use the email included in the syllabus!
